At the annual meeting of the Parish Council on 4th May 2005, councillors were elected for various roles as follows:

Playing fields officer - in view of the forthcoming changes in the village this will become the Open Spaces Officer - Cllr Geoff Wallington

Environment and Tree Warden Cllr Geoff Wallington
Representative on Village Hall Management Cttee Cllr Ray Tully
Representative on West Monkton in Need Charity Cllr H Corcoran
Highways Co-ordinator Cllr H Besley
Parish Governor Representative at Primary School Cllr H Ellis.
